Early Submarine

Submarine history started when English Mathematician, William Bourne sketched his idea into a blueprint in 1578. In 1620, Dutch designer, Cornelius van Drebbel started the development of submarine by built-up a small wooden ship covered by waterproof skin. It's equipped with air hose to the surface.

He successfully traveled under water for three hours in Thames river. First submarine for military was built by American, David Bushnell in 1776.
