These are great pics, but you might want to work on your descriptions a little.

The "reindeer kissing" are actually moose.

The "buffaloes" are actually wildebeest.

The "deer" seeing the sunset are actually impala.

The "scary owl eyes" are actually Iguana eyes.

The "weird fish" is actually a Giant Grouper

The "white birds" are Egrets

Thanks for your help :)

... not that you would see the comments if you're using a non-microsoft browser. Looks like you're using the "alt" tag attribute where you should be using a "title" tag attribute.

Where on the National Geographic site would I find the awards granted?

What, oh please do tell me anyone, is the white thing in the picture labeled "sea mammals"? The pics are lovely...

Manatee? aka Dugong (sea cow) I believe. Looks like one has had a run-in with a boat; see the gashes in its fluke.

These images are previous winners from Nature's Best Magazine, not from National Geographic.

(I took the "screaming turtle" image).

First, these are not from National Geographic. They are from the Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice International Awards Competition.

Second, I doubt you have permission to display them, especially without credit to the photographers that made them.

posting as anonymous does not solve the problem. How about reveal yourself and we can make something good.

Nice to see you are not crediting the photographers - some of which I know. Plus NG does not have anything to do with NB's awards.

Please remove this post - copyright infringement you know.

These pictures have nothing to with National Geographic.
The were winners of Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice International Photography Awards and I don't think you asked permission to post them, specially without giving anybody credit.

That is a violation of US copyright laws.
I own the rights to the Snowy Egret picture and this site in in no way authorized to display it.

No permission was granted by Nature’s Best Publishing LLC for any use of the photographs shown on this website.
